Severe Tooth Pain or a Dental Emergency

This one isn't really about scheduling ahead — it's about knowing when to call right now. Severe pain, a knocked-out or broken tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, or visible swelling are all reasons to pick up the phone immediately rather than waiting for a routine appointment.

Signs You Should Call Us

  • Severe or sudden tooth pain that won't let up
  • A knocked-out or broken tooth
  • Uncontrolled bleeding in the mouth
  • Visible swelling or signs of infection
  • A lost crown, filling, or restoration causing pain

How We Evaluate at The Holistic Dental Center

Call our office as soon as the emergency happens — our team will work to see you quickly, often the same day. Dr. Bentler or Dr. Simmons will assess the problem, manage your pain, and recommend the right next step, explaining what's happening as you go.

What Happens Next

In the meantime, keep any broken pieces, rinse gently with warm water, and apply a cold compress if there's swelling. Avoid putting aspirin directly on the gums. Call The Holistic Dental Center right away at (509) 325-2051.
