Needing a Closer Look at Your Mouth

If you're being considered for an implant or extraction, dealing with unexplained pain, or a standard X-ray has left a question unanswered, your dentist may want a more detailed view. A 3D scan lets Dr. Bentler or Dr. Simmons see your teeth, jaw, and surrounding bone from every angle, which helps plan treatment more precisely.

Signs You Should Bring It Up

  • You're being evaluated for a dental implant
  • You have a tooth that may need extraction and your dentist wants a clearer view first
  • You're dealing with unexplained pain, swelling, or a suspected hidden infection
  • A standard X-ray showed something that needs a closer look

How We Evaluate at The Holistic Dental Center

The scan itself takes about 10 to 20 seconds — you simply sit or stand still while the scanner rotates around your head. There's no biting down, no pinching, and the radiation dose is low. Dr. Bentler or Dr. Simmons reviews the images with you right away and explains anything they noticed.

What Happens Next

Because we have 3D imaging in-house, there's no need to be referred out or wait on results from somewhere else. Most appointments that include a scan are done within 15 to 20 minutes. If your treatment plan might benefit from a clearer picture, call The Holistic Dental Center at (509) 325-2051.
