What are Non-metal Implants?

In the past we did not promote the traditional implant due to the titanium structure. The titanium implant system consist of two components joined together with a fixation screw. This allows for micro-movement and the perfect environment to harbor anaerobic bacteria. The gingiva experiences constant inflammation which can lead to bone loss and possible implant failure.

Over the years, more ceramic components are being untilized in dental restorations due to their clinically proven strength and aesthetic benefits. CeraRoot implants set the bar high for optimal function, superior health, and natural beauty, providing the one-piece design made from biocompatible zirconia.

What are CeraRoot Implants made of?

CeraRoot implants are made from zirconia- a biocompatible, ceramic material that fosters complete assimilation into jaw bone.

Zirconia is best known among ceramics as being both hard and fracture-tough at room temperature. Additionally, its fine (sub-micron), grain size enables excellent surface finishes and the ability to hold a sharp edge. Although we spotlight the benefits of zirconia's strength, the esthetic options are by far preferable to the past of porcelain fused to metal crowns.
